Why do this..

Cloudmore makes it easy to add the margin % to Azure cost prices, allowing resellers and customers to see an accurate, up-to-date breakdown of Azure charges at any time. 


Follow the instructions below to learn how to set pricing for the Azure service. 

Cloudmore uses Microsoft data to show useful views at both Azure reseller and customer levels.

By default, Cloudmore will automatically apply a 15% margin.  

Use the instructions below to change the default margin % for all customers or set a different margin % for individual customers, or for individual subscriptions (billing containers).

1. Go to Azure service

Log in to Cloudmore.  Navigate to  cloud service broker menu, then click my services, then Azure.

2. Go to margin

Select margin

3. Set margin for all organizations

Enter the required margin %.

Select the active date that you want the new margin to be applied from.   Note:- If you set a date in the past, historic billing reports will change to reflect the new % margin. 

Click update to apply the changes

View History - displays a history of changes made to the organizations margin.

4. Set margin for individual organizations

Click the Actions option and then click then select margin - next to the organization you wish to change the margin for.

Enter the new margin %

Select the active date that you want the new margin to be applied from.   Note:- If you set a date in the past, historic billing reports will change to reflect the new % margin. 

Click update

Use the history action icon to view margin changes per organization.

5. Set margin for individual subscriptions

From the drop down list, select the organization with the subscription you wish to change the margin for. 

Cloudmore will automatically display, all subscriptions for the selected organization. 

Use the pencil icon, next to the subscription you want to edit.

Select the active date that you want the new margin to be applied from.   Note:- If you set a date in the past, historic billing reports will change to reflect the new % margin. 

Click update

Use the history action icon to view margin changes per organization.

6. Export list of organization margins

Click on the Screen Shot 2017-07-11 at 16.29.34.png icon in the top right corner.

Select the download file format.

The file will then automatically download.
