InSpark is a fast-growing full-service cloud solutions provider based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The company is a subsidiary of the national telecommunications firm KPN, acting as an incubator for some of Microsoft’s newest technologies to provide turnkey solutions that KPN can roll out countrywide. InSpark is mainly focused on the Dutch market, offering customers everything from strategic development to technology implementations and licensure support. The company recently won the Global 2019 Microsoft Security and Compliance Partner of the Year Award and has set its sights on becoming the number one Microsoft partner for the Netherlands.
InSpark previously used a different SaaS platform to handle the provisioning, managing, reporting, and billing of the company’s extensive portfolio of Microsoft and custom services. However, this solution raised a number of reliability issues. “The platform was very slow, and it didn’t keep up with Microsoft updates,” explains Emile Sheets, Cloud Subscription Specialist at InSpark.
InSpark put their requirements across to Cloudmore, listed among them, requests for high availability and reliability of consumption data and license change updates, as well as general ease of use for internal teams and end customers. After the proof of concept stage, which involved one and a half months of rigorous testing, Cloudmore was able to evidence its strengths and onboard InSpark as a customer.
Customers have reported enjoying the granular insight they get into their billing and usage costs, which they can view and export from their dashboards. They also have the freedom to flex their subscriptions and licenses in their own time, which Emile says, “has reduced the number of incoming ticket requests and calls to sales and support.
